
I'm totally aware that running tails in a VM is a shit idea and should be avoided, I just like poking around at it and don't want to have to shutdown Windows to do it. I was just curious about how to get it done. Tails is meant to be easy, and this is obviously hard.

Edit to to add the USB VDI like you did in.Create a new VBox VM as Mac OS X 64-bit.Install tails to the USB based VDI you added in.Boot tails in your ISO based VM and launch the "Tails-Installer".Click the "Hotplugable" box for USB VDI so that it shows up as removable(ish).
